Apparently, on Pascha Sunday at 7pm EDT, the CBS program 60 Minutes will run a 2-segment piece featuring some of the monasteries of Mount Athos. For those not able to watch or record it at that time, or those outside the US, it will be posted on the 60 Minutes website shortly after the broadcast, and I imagine that someone will upload it to YouTube within a couple of days after that. From what I’ve heard, it will present a rare view into the life of a few of the monasteries of the Holy Mountain, a place unknown to most North Americans and Europeans who are not Orthodox Christians.
